According to our sources MediaTek is developing a new 6nm chip codenamed “Next-G”, the chip will be announced at the end of this year, and Chinese electronics company Doogee is the first to use the chip one of the brands. Now reliable sources say that this will be a Doogee S98 series smartphone powered by MediaTek chips.
Chinese smartphone maker Doogee will launch three more devices under the S98 series, dubbed the S98, S98 Pro and S98 Ultra. The S98 Pro and S98 Ultra are expected to be officially released in April or May, but the regular model may be released next month.
The Doogee S98 is powered by the Helio G96 chip, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, as well as a dedicated microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 512GB.
