At 2 am on March 9th, Apple held its spring product launch event, officially introducing the new iPad Air.
The biggest feature of the new tablet is the M1 chip, which has 60% more CPU performance and twice more GPU performance than the A14 chip in the previous iPad Air.
The new iPad Air supports P3 wide color gamut, primary color display, 500 nits brightness and anti-reflective coating. It is available in five color schemes: deep space Grey, starlight, pink, purple and new blue.
The other big update is the front-facing camera, which has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and center people. At this point, the entire line of iPad models now support the figure center.
In addition, the new iPad Air also supports 5G cellular networks and USBC ports, and Apple has improved the USB-C port for high-speed connections to various hard drives, docking docks and cameras, making it twice as fast as its predecessor.
The new iPad Air also supports a variety of accessories, such as a keyboard-like smart double-sided clip and a keyboard for typing, as well as a trackpad that doubles as a hand. The iPad Air also supports the first-generation Apple Pencil.
Systemically, the new iPad Air runs iPad OS 15 with improved multitasking controls, supporting for quick memos and syndication.

The new iPad Air will start at 4,399 yuan, $698 and come in 64/256GB versions, Wi-Fi and 5G, and will be available on March 18.
