Vivo is preparing to launch a new Y-series phone in India and recently the device has received approval from the BIS agency with model number V2142. Now, a source from 91mobiles has exclusively shared with us the main specifications of the Vivo Y75 5G.
The latest leak confirms once again that the Vivo Y75 5G will feature a Dimensity 700 chipset, which has gone through a 7-nanometer fabrication process, offers 5G connectivity to mid-segment phones with a 5G modem. In addition, the chipset is supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also support for virtual RAM up to 4GB.
According to a source today, Vivo Y75 5G will be equipped with a 6.58-inch screen, supporting Full-HD + resolution (2,408 x 1,080 pixels) and using a waterdrop-shaped notch design to accommodate the selfie camera. Inside, the smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
In terms of photography capabilities, Vivo Y75 5G has a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary camera, and another 2MP camera. It has a 16MP camera for selfies and video calling on the front. The device will boot with the FuntouchOS 12 user interface based on the Android 12 operating system right out of the box.
In addition, the Smartphone will have two color options: Black and Aurora. It has a fingerprint scanner built into the power button on the side for security. It has a body that is 8.25mm thick and weighs 187g. The Vivo Y75 5G model is expected to be introduced in India in early February. However, no official information has been shared about the device yet.
