Half a year after releasing the 10.8-inch Chuwi HiPad Pro Android tablet for $300, the Chinese device maker is back with a new model with better specs. The new Chuwi HiPad Pro for 2022 is still an Android tablet with 4G LTE and support for optional keyboard and pen accessories.
The new Chuwi HiPad Pro comes equipped with a 10.8″ display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 288 PPi. With 97% DCI P3 color gamut, more accurate color reproduction, and more than 90% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio, it offers an immersive visual experience. Its super high definition screen ensures that the graphics stand out whether it is for learning, entertaining, creating content, watching movies, or playing games.
Under the hood, the new version of Chuwi HiPad Pro includes the most advanced Helio G95 chipset, which has already proven its performance and stability on many mobile phones. It comes with 2*Cortex A76 + 6*A55 cores and the highest main frequency reaches up to 2.05GHz.
The integrated dual-core APU supports AI processing power of up to 10GB ARM and 1TMACs. The Antutu V9 running score is close to 320,000 points, and the single-core running score reaches up to 552 in GeekBench 5.4.4. Finally, Multi-Core Running Score clocks in at around 1675, which is basically on par with high-end chips.
Then we have the latest Mali-G76 architecture GPU with the main frequency of up to 900MHz. And also the HyperEngine technology, which fully optimizes the game’s network lag, controls, image quality, and load control. That makes it perfect for current mainstream online games.
The new Chuwi HiPad Pro 4G LTE comes with Android 11 software and with Google’s official Widevine L1 digital certification, you can enjoy premium content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and other OTT applications with the new HiPad Pro in the best picture quality.
Other features remain largely the same, including 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, a 7000mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera (in an in-screen cutout), quad speakers, a microSD card reader and a USB 3.0 Type-C port. Optional accessories include a Bluetooth keyboard case and a Chuwi H6 pen, which is a digital pen that uses Wacom technology and supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
The new Chuwi HiPad Pro powered by Helio G95 chipset is scheduled to go on sale later this month, but the manufacturer has not yet given an exact date. The price given is less than $299.
