Xiaomi is a well known for its very good quality mobiles, that come at a very good price. Doogee on the other hand is known mainly for its midrange very good mobiles that come at a very low price. Design
The Redmi 4A is sadly not a metal phone but it could pass off as one. The phone is made of plastic, but you must have a good look to understand it. We have a standard 5.0″ 1280×720 px, IPS LCD display. It does its job decently producing appropriate colors, contrast, and clarity. The 720p screen won’t blow anyone’s socks off but they’ll do the job. Max brightness is OK, topping out at around 400 nits which means you’ll have great difficulty seeing it in direct sunlight. Everywhere else and the screen performs just fine. There is no protective glass on the screen either. The Redmi 4A weights about 156g and it’s dimensions are 141.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm. On the other hand, the DOOGEE Y6C comes with a bright and big 5.5inch display, with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720, enhanced by a smooth G+FF 2.5D glass screen. The Y6C is made out of aluminium metal, with smooth finish. Comes out in Black, Blue, Gold and Silver. It weights about 148 grams, so despite the fact that is made out of metal, is lighter from Redmi 4A and it’s dimensions are 15.42 x 7.75 x 0.85cm.
Hardware
The Redmi 4A under the hood is hiding a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 64bit processor, clocked up to 1.4GHz. For GPU the Adreno 308 clocked up to 500MHz, does all the needed job in graphics. The system is helped by the 2GB of RAM and the 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD. For operating system uses MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.
The DOOGEE Y6C hides under the hood the quadcore MTK 6737 64-Bit, clocked up to 1.3Ghz. For GPU, the Mali-T720MP2 clocked up to 600MHz, does the needed job. These two are helped by the 2GB LPDDR3 of RAM and the 16GB eMMC5.1 of internal storage, that can also be expanded up to 32GB with a TF memory card. The Y6C run s android 6.0 out of the box.
Features
The Redmi 4A for main camera on the rear features a 13MP with LED flash,F / 2.2 aperture, that has almost the exact same camera quality as the Redmi 3. The front facing 5MP camera does a good job as a facial camera. For the money the mobile is sold, the quality of both camera is very good! The speakers are located beside the MicroUSB plug, and they produce very loud sound. The Redmi 4A comes with a global ROM, which means that at FDD supports B20, which is something rare for Xiaomi and common for most midrange mobiles and companies. WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS all work well. There is also an IR blaster. The mobile supports dual SIM (Micro + Nano / microSD), dual standby.
The DOOGEE Y6C has for main camera on the rear a Hynix HI843B 8.0MP AF (SW13.0MP) and for selfies a Hynix HI843B 8.0MP FF (SW13.0MP). And the Y6C supports B20 from the FDD 4G connections. It features also Hotknot Support, FM Radio, Fingerprint and Bluetooth BT4.0. From WiFi supports 802.11 b/g/n. It also supports Dual Card Dual Standby (2 * Micro SIM / 1 * Micro SIM & TF card).
Battery
The Redmi 4A comes with a 3030mAh. With the Snapdragon 425, gets around 4-5 hours of screen on time and over a 16 hour day which is very impressive for such a small battery. There is also support for QuickCharge 2.0 as well.
On the other hand and the Doogee Y6C comes almost with the same battery, 3200mAh Li-polymer. According to the company, when is fully charged, you can have 680 minutes talking time and 72 hours standby time.
Conclusion
Both mobiles, and the Xiaomi Redmi 4A and the Doogee Y6C looks very good. I could say that the Doogee Y6C looks a little better from it rival, but is up to you to decide if you agree with me or not.
