Chuwi MiniBook X Specification
Chuwi MiniBook X is a variant of the MiniBook (launched in 2019); optimized in design and updated in the technical data sheet. Both adopt a convertible concept with a special 360 ° hinge, which allows you to flip the display under the keyboard to use the device if necessary in tablet, notebook; tent and stand mode. However, if the first generation was based on Intel Celeron N4100 (Gemini Lake) or Core m3-8100Y (Amber Lake-Y) processors and featured an 8-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, the new Chuwi MiniBook X offers a newer chip and larger display.
On board, in fact, we find a quad-core Intel Celeron N5100 (Jasper Lake) at 10nm with a base frequency of 1.1GHz (up to 2.8GHz); TDP of 6W and integrated Intel UHD graphics from 350-800MHz; but above all a large display touch 10.8 inch 2K (2560 x 1600 pixels) in 16:10; with support for pen input. The amount of memory also increases, with 1 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of SATA SSD space.
The larger display made it possible to integrate a real touchpad under the keyboard; instead of the optical touch sensor in the center of the space bar; but it also made the chassis a bit bulky than the previous model. MiniBook X measures 243 x 167 x 17.7 mm and weighs around 900 grams; but has thinner bezels around the screen and a 5MP punch-hole front camera which together contribute to the 90% screen-to-body ratio. Chuwi MiniBook X integrates a USB Type-C port for 45 watt USB PD 2.0 charging and / or support for data and video transfer.
Chuwi MiniBoox X will soon be offered only on Chuwi’s official site. For more information and updates, please keep an eye on Chuwi’s official website.
