Xiaomi today warmed up the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 12. This phone is equipped with CyberFocus all-object tracking technology, which can recognize a variety of subjects, control the camera to focus, and learn the characteristics of the subject and track the focus. Therefore, the Mi 12 mobile phone can achieve a better capture effect and improve the shooting success rate. Officials said that CyberFocus all things focus tracking technology is derived from the owner tracking technology of Xiaomi’s robotic dog CyberDog, which belongs to a category of computational photography technology.
Xiaomi released the CyberDog “Iron Egg” quadruped robot on August 10, 2021. This product is equipped with a high-precision environmental perception system, with a total of 11 high-precision sensors throughout the body. There are multiple cameras of different specifications in front of the robot, including binocular wide-angle cameras, depth cameras, AI interactive cameras, etc., using some of Intel’s technology to track and recognize human bodies. The robot can automatically follow the owner to achieve an effect similar to “walking the dog”.
The Mi 12 series of mobile phones will be equipped with a brand-new image architecture, with a new breakthrough in cameras: faster and more stable. Mobile phone cameras will be faster in terms of startup speed and focusing speed.
The main camera of the Xiaomi Mi 12 Standard Edition will use the Sony IMX766 sensor with 50 Megapixels and 1/1.56 inches; the Mi 12 Pro main camera will be the first to launch Sony’s customized IMX707 sensor, which also has 50 Megapixels and the size is 1/1.28 inches. This series of phones will be released at 19:30 on December 28.
