If it is not expected for several months in the West, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra are not so far from their launch in China. It is therefore only natural, the industry being what it is, that we begin to unravel its up-to-date characteristics. In this case, Xiaomi would also have in its boxes a certain Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced, for those for whom excellence is no longer enough.
Let’s Go Digital shares schematic views of Xiaomi’s future ultra-high-end smartphone. At first glance, the front of the mobile will integrate a camera in the center and will have very thin borders on the edges.
On the back, Xiaomi seems to have reworked its copy. A priori, the external screen – and totally gadget – of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will disappear on this new model. Also, the new cameras will be stored here vertically, for an aesthetic rendering that we hope will be happier.
In the photo, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced should carry a 50MP Samsung GN5 wide-angle sensor. No less than three other 48MP sensors should accompany it with, on the menu, an ultra-wide-angle, a 2x optical zoom, a 5x optical zoom, and a 10x periscope. According to some rumors, Xiaomi would have also teamed up with Leica for the adjustment of its new photo modules.
Moreover, the Xiaomi 12 series should largely adopt the Snapdragon 898 (which could be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). The launch of these new mobiles is expected in China next month, but its commercialization will wait until the first half of 2022 as usual.
