Intel is about to release the 12th-generation Core mobile processor early next year, and now Samsung notebooks equipped with i7-1260P have appeared on the running sub-platform.
As shown in the figure above, Intel i7-1260P has 12 cores and 16 threads, which is a specification of 4 large cores + 8 small cores, with the main frequency of 2.5GHz and 18MB of L3 cache. From the specification point of view, it is expected that i7-1260P belongs to Intel’s 12th-generation Core low-voltage processor, using a naming method different from that of i7-1165G7.
A few days ago, the i9-12900HK, i7-12700H, and i7-12800H of the 12th-generation H-series processors used in gaming laptops have been exposed. They are all 14 cores and 20 threads, which are 6 large cores and 8 small cores.
Intel is expected to release 12-generation mobile processors at CES in January 2022. Thin and light notebooks and gaming notebooks equipped with the new processors are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2022.
