Recently, a Weibo tipster Panda is Bald shared details about alleged Xiaomi 12 and Redmi K50 series smartphones earlier this month. The leaker revealed the model numbers and the processors that will be powering up the upcoming smartphones.
According to the leaker, the Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Ultra phones will be carrying model numbers the L2, L1A, and L1 respectively. Likewise, model numbers L10, L10A, L11, and L11R represent upcoming Redmi K50 series smartphones.
Moreover, the L9 and L9B are reportedly devices from Xiaomi that pack the latest Snapdragon 778G+ SoC under the hood. Meanwhile, Qualcomm is gearing up to announce its next flagship chipset, which will probably carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 moniker. The new chip could go official towards the end of this month.
Furthermore, it is highly like that the Xiaomi 12 with the new chipset could launch in December. The vanilla model could go official next month. However, the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra models could hit the store shelves in early 2022.
