In the month of October, TCL was expected to launch a new low-cost phone called the TCL 205 in Spain. However, this phone was not unveiled and we only saw a few details. In early November, rumors surfaced that it might be released this month. Now, the famous revealer Ivan Bless has published high-quality images of the company’s next phone renderings.
According to Gizmocchina, the TCL 205 will feature a display with a notch drop and a modern design. The front of the device tries to make the edges around the screen narrow, but the bottom edge is thicker. On the back of the device is a vertically arranged dual camera with a LED flash housed inside a rectangular module.
In the released renderings, the TCL logo is on the back and the volume and power buttons are on the right side of the phone. Other details that can be taken from these images include the SIM card tray on the left and the charging port on the bottom edge, which, of course, cannot be identified as USB Type-C or micro-USB.
Although the phone has not been released yet, teasers have revealed the 6.22-inch display with HD + resolution. The phone is also expected to be equipped with an eight-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which can be further expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The TCL 205 will use a 4000mAh battery and as with any other entry-level smartphone, the TCL 205 will be shipped with Android 11 Go Edition out of the box. At the moment, the time to market and sale price of TCL 205 is currently unclear.
