Tecno, a brand owned by Chinese smartphone company Transsion Holdings, has launched a Spark 8 phone in India, which is aimed at entry-level models.
Tecno Spark 8 uses dual rear cameras, provides a 16-megapixel main sensor, f/1.8 aperture, and supports AI beauty, smile shooting, AI portrait, HDR, AR shooting, time-lapse photography, panorama, slow motion and more. There’s an 8-megapixel camera on the front with dual flash for selfies and video chats. Interestingly, the phone’s rear fingerprint module is located in the lower right corner of the camera module, which is unusual.
Tecno Spark 8 features a 6.56-inch HD+ water drop display with a brightness of 480 nits and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The smartphone is a bit bulky, measuring 9.2 mm thick, 76 mm wide and 165 mm high. In terms of performance, it uses a Mediatek Helio G25 chipset with 3GB OF LPDDR4X memory and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 256GB via a microSD card. It supports for HyperEngine technology, which aims to provide a seamless gaming experience.
Tecno Spark 8 comes with a 5000mAh battery and runs on a customised Android 11 operating system, HiOS 7.6. Connectivity includes 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS.

iGeekphone has learned that Tecno Spark 8 will cost InR 9,299 in India for a 3GB ram and 32GB storage version, and the phone will be available in Atlantic blue, turquoise blue and iris.
