At the beginning of this month, Meizu has held the last concert to release Meizu M5 Note. According to its CEO, Huang Zhang, Meizu M5 Note is the king in 150usd smartphones mainly focusing on big battery, big screen, nice design and high quality. The smartphone uses 2.5D curved glass, cutting diamond, all metal CNC, injection molding, anodic oxidation process, which is said to cost twice price than the normal three-step design.
As for specs, Meizu M5 Note adopts 5.5 inch 1080P screen, supporting Sunshine, dark screen, eye protection, etc. It is powered by Helio P10 Octa core processor, RAM 3GB/4GB, ROM 16GB/32GB/64GB and it can be extended to 128GB by a TF card, built in 4,000mAh battery, supporting 18W quick charge, after 5 hours using, it still has 66% power.
It has dual camera with 5MP front and 13MP back camera to support 0.2 second fast focusing and PDAF. The front design uses pressed fingerprint scanner,mBack to support Alipay and Wechat payment.
In OS, Meizu M5 Note is the first one to use Flyme 6 OS, its CPU and RAM has improved 20% efficiency to support AI speeding up. As for price, Meizu M5 Note RAM 3GB ROM 16GB sells at 899 yuan, $149, RAM 3GB ROM 32GB at 999 yuan, $166, and RAM 4GB ROM 64GB at 1,499 yuan, $249. We will tear down the RAM 3GB ROM 32GB edition.
