Recently, it was revealed that Huawei will unveil the next generation of its flagship Mate 50 series in October, but the P50 series was released at the end of July, so the timing is now too short to be possible in terms of product planning.
Huawei’s Mate 50 will not be unveiled this year, but in the first quarter of next year at the earliest, possibly in March, according to a source.
According to previous leaks, Huawei Mate 50 is testing the Snapdragon 898 flagship chip, but it’s not the usual version, it’s a 4G chip with 5G stripped out, but the performance is exactly the same.
The Snapdragon 898 will be based on Samsung’s 4nm process and will feature a tri-cluster CPU with the following CPU specifications: 1* 3.0ghz Cortexx2 ultra-core +3* 2.5ghz CortexA78 large core +4* 1.79ghz CortexA55 small core.
In addition, Huawei is the only company currently using the 4G version of the Snapdragon 898, so the snapdragon 898 will debut in the series as well.
