Xiaomi has now started testing MIUI 12.5 based on Android 12 and is expected to start to push the MIUI 13 version through OTA updates at the end of this year. Existing netizens have exposed some screenshots of the MIUI 13 interface on the Xiaomi community, Weibo, and some overseas platforms, showing some UI changes in the new version.
It is said that MIUI 13 will introduce virtual memory expansion for all models, including high-end Xiaomi flagship, Redmi, and Poco models.
Judging from the leaked screenshots, the new version seems to have features such as floating widgets and custom notification management for specific scenarios.
The position of the default search bar of MIUI 13 seems to be moved to the bottom of the screen. The new version is expected to bring smoother animation design, new themes, and is expected to optimize power management, as well as better privacy control and so on.
