Google’s upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones are displayed in front of the Google Store in New York City. Google Store is located on 9th Avenue, between West 15th and 16th Streets in New York City, directly across from Chelsea Market.
Photos of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones on display in the Google Store have been posted to Reddit by users. Here are the actual shots:
According to the report, Google’s marketing strategy for the new device is strange, as back in early August, Google first released design drawings for the Pixel 6/Pro and detailed information about the home-developed Tensor chipset. Google also revealed it would update the camera system on its Pixel phones to include a dedicated telephoto camera on the Pro model.
While Google has yet to confirm a release date for Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, there are well-placed leaks that the release date will be October 19.
A recent report suggests that Google’s Active Edge feature, which allows users to press on both sides of the phone to activate Google Voice Assistant, it may return on Pixel 6 and 6 Pro phones.
It’s also been revealed that Google will unveil the Pixel Fold as the “One More Thing” at the event.
