Xiaomi has two new devices using sm8250 SoCs that have been filed, and they are designated as mid-range and mid-to-high-end. sm8250 is the code name of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. At present, Xiaomi only has the Redmi K40 and XiaomiMi 10S models equipped with this chip. According to the whistleblower, these two new phones belong to the Xiaomi brand.
In addition, Redmi’s new mid-range machine is also on the way and will use MediaTek chips, the series of which is temporarily unknown.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC was foundry by TSMC, using a 7nm process and a 1+3+4 cluster. Its super-large core frequency can reach 3.2GHz, the large core frequency is 2.42GHz, and the small core frequency is 1.8GHz. This chip has a built-in Adreno 650 GPU, which is the same as the Snapdragon 865 Plus.

Xiaomi will hold an online press conference overseas on September 15 and is expected to release the new Xiaomi 11T series. The processor it uses is temporarily unknown. This series of mobile phones is not expected to be released in China.
