It appeared on the geekbench platform for a new mobile phone code named Vivo V2102A running scores, according to the well-known digital blogger news, Vivo’s new flagship mobile phone that has not yet launched is the Snapdragon 898 (sm8450) chip.
According to the Geekbench list information, the new Vivo phone equipped with the Snapdragon898 chip has a single-core running score of 720 points and a multi-core running score of 1919 points. It has 7.04GB of memory and runs the Android 12 operating system.
The Snapdragon 898 chip uses Samsung’s 4nm process, has a new dual Part 3400 architecture, and is equipped with Adreno 730 GPU. However, the current version of the running score is the same as the original sm8350. It is a low-frequency version.
In addition, the Snapdragon898 chip has eight cores, and the base frequency shown in the list is 1.78GHz. Mass production will definitely increase the frequency, but while improving performance, its power consumption will also be very large.
Combined with previous information, the TSMC OEM version of the Snapdragon 898 chip may be available in the second quarter of next year as soon as possible. At present, the new flagship phones of many mobile phone manufacturers are scheduled to be equipped with the Snapdragon 898 chip.
