Vivo launches an excellent smartphone in India on Friday. The company’s new handset is called Vivo Y21, which has a dual-rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 13MP. In terms of performance, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and has a very strong 5000mAh battery.
Vivo Y21 features a 6.51 inches Halo FullView LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB RAM with 1GB Virtual RAM support and up to 128GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for extra storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 13MP primary sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the phone sports an 8MP front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 11 with FunTouch OS 11.1 on top. In terms of Dimensions, the phone measures 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams.
The Vivo Y21 comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the device flaunts a dual gradient design and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which the company claims can unlock the phone in just 0.22s.
Vivo Price and availability
Vivo Y21 has been launched in two variants, which is 4GB + 64GB storage and its price is Rs 13,990 INR ($188). While the price of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is Rs 15,490 INR ($208). This smartphone comes in Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue color options. Also, this smartphone can be bought from online and offline markets.
