Last week, a mysterious OPPO phone with model number PEYM00 has received approval from China’s TENAA authority, which revealed some key details of this upcoming device. The design of the phone was not known as its images did not appear on TENAA. However, today the list is now updated with renders of OPPO PEYM00.
As we can see, the image shows a large rectangular camera module on the back of the phone that covers the width of the device and almost one-third of the height of the device. There are three vertical camera sensors on the left side of the module.
There is a 09-K logo on the right side of the camera module, which indicates that this future OPPO smartphone may be part of the K-series. The device will have a power button on the right side and volume keys on the left.
In terms of specs, the listing revealed that the OPPO PEYM00 smartphone has a 6.43-inch screen that offers a Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone will boast 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage.
As for the camera setup, For selfies, it will feature a 16MP front camera. on the back, there will be a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP macro. It is backed by a 4400mAh battery. It likely runs on Android 11 with its own ColorOS user interface. The smartphone measures 158.7×73.5×8.5mm and weighs 180 grams.
The OPPO PEYM00 will be available in black, silver, and blue color options. Considering that the phone has already passed TENAA certification, it will most likely go official soon.
