Xiaomi will launch the Mi Mix 4 in China on August 10. Ahead of the launch, the device is listed on the Geekbench website with model number 2106118C. According to the score from the GeekBench website, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 got 857 points for a single core and 2996 points for multiple cores.
The listing also reveals that the phone is powered by a Qualcomm chip that includes four CPU cores working at 1.80GHz, three CPU cores ticking at 2.42GHz, a prime core clock at 3.00GHz, and paired with Adreno 660 GPU for graphics. These specs are a good hint that it is powered by the all-new Snapdragon 888+ chip. It also suggests that the Mi Mix 4 could be the world’s first phone to arrive with the new SD888+ chip.
The performance unit is paired with 12GB of RAM. It runs Android 11 out of the box. We can expect the Xiaomi phone to have a layer of MIUI 12.5 on top of the Android mobile operating system.
The leaker claims that the Mi MIX 4 is likely to feature a 6.6-inch full-screen OLED panel with FHD+ resolution, an in-screen camera, and an in-display fingerprint reader. It is expected to arrive with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
It may feature a 50MP (Samsung GN1s) triple camera system. The device may house a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 70W or 80W wireless fast charging. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the device.
In addition to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, the August 10 launch event is also expected to see the arrival of the Mi Pad 5 series of tablets. It is speculated that Xiaomi may also showcase the all-new MIUI 13 at the upcoming unveiling event.
