Xiaomi released the Mi 10T series of premium phones for the global market in September last year. Now it seems that the company is preparing to present the successors of this series in the coming months. This is suggested after the phone, labeled Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro with model number 2107113SG is already listed in the SIRIM database of certified devices in Malaysia, according to the MySmartPrice website.
In the fall of 2020, Xiaomi launched the Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T, and Mi 10T Lite. Even now, more new models are likely to be coming as part of the Mi 11T series, but no similar mentions have been seen in the Mi 11T Pro.
By the way, not much is known about the Mi 11T Pro yet, although the same phone with model code 2107113SG has already passed the tests required by the FCC. In that context, only 5G support and MIUI 12.5 software was confirmed, which were already assumptions anyway.
Last year’s Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were slightly more affordable, upper-middle-end smartphone models than the top models in the Mi 10 series introduced earlier, with Xiaomi aiming to deliver plenty of performance at a reasonable price. It remains to be seen whether the background idea in the Mi 11T series has remained the same.
The Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11, Mi 11i, and Mi 11 Ultra have already been seen in the Finnish market in the Mi 11 model series. Of these, the Mi 11i, which is cheaper than the Mi 11, has already been slightly similar in positioning to the Mi 10T Pro models last year.
Along with the Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro, the standard Mi 11T model will most likely be released, which is expected to have mostly the same specifications and design, except perhaps in the camera segment. For now, there is not much information about the Mi 11T series of phones, and more details can be expected as we approach their official announcement.
