The Honor Magic 3 will be Honor’s next big launch in the smartphone segment. It will be the brand’s first premium high-end device after its complete independence from Huawei. In recent days it had been said that the company will have an event scheduled for the 12th of next August.
However, it had not yet been said what would be presented on that date. Now, the company has officially revealed that the Honor Magic 3 will have its official presentation on August 12.
The above confirmation has been revealed through a tweet from Honor Global’s official account. Because the word “series” was used, we can expect more than one model to be posted online. Furthermore, we can also assume that it will be a global launch event.
Previous leaks have also hinted that we would have more than one Magic phone this year. In fact, one of these would be a folding screen mobile device. Several Chinese leakers have revealed that we would have up to three models in the Honor Magic 3 series. This comes from insider @ RODENT950 via his Twitter account earlier this week, noting that there are three models in the Magic 3 series identified with model numbers ELZ-AN00, ELZ-AN10, and ELZ-AN20.
So, taking into account the above, we can expect that next to the standard version, there will be Pro and Pro + variants, in addition to the fact that the folding Honor Magic would be a separate model from those previously mentioned.
In addition to the above, the Digital Chat Station leaker has leaked some key features for us. The Honor Magic 3 would have a 6.76-inch OLED screen with extremely curved edges (waterfall display) and a high resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels.
A pill-shaped piercing indicates that it will have two front chambers. Previous reports indicate that there would be a variant with a front camera hidden in the screen (probably the Pro model ). Internally, it would be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ chipset. The standard model of the Magic 3 line can come with 66W fast charging, while the Pro model would have 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.
