Apple isn’t satisfied with its current iPad lineup and is looking to expand it.
According to foreign media reports, Apple is exploring a future iPad with a bigger screen, but it may not be released for at least a few years.
Apple engineers and designers are reportedly exploring a larger iPad that could hit stores as early as a few years from now. That’s not likely next year, as Apple’s attention is focused on a redesigned, existing size iPad Pro in 2022, and it’s possible that it won’t even show up. But for many, including many people, the big iPad will be the perfect device, and it will continue to blur the line between tablet and laptop.
The larger display size will help further blur the line between the iPad Pro and the MacBook Pro, which has up to a 16-inch display. However, many customers still feel that the LaDOS doesn’t take full advantage of the iPad Pro’s hardware, and some experts agree that Apple will eventually need to allow Mac apps and Mac-like multitasking on the Pro, as well as a more flexible arrangement of the app window.
