Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, which are iterative products of the foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip. Of course, in addition to these two new folding phones, Samsung has other similar models.
According to Letsgodigital news, Samsung is expected to release a scroll-screen phone and a dual-folding screen phone in 2022, and based on current information, it has also produced a rendering of a dual-folding screen phone.
The report pointed out that Samsung Display recently filed a patent application named “S-Foldable” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).
The patent shows a Galaxy Z Fold 3 with a dual-hinge S-folding design. Although there is no folding phone with this design on the market, the design has a fatal flaw, that is, the thickness of the phone is too thick.
And now, in order to change the thickness of the dual-folding phone, Samsung has a brand new design that not only allows the Galaxy Z Fold 3 to have the thickness of an ordinary folding phone but also leaves room for the S Pen.

It can be seen from the rendering that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 uses a double hinge design, the main screen design is larger, and the two foldable screens are relatively small and can be folded back. After folding, the middle of the two screens can just put down the S Pen, and the remaining position of the S Pen is the camera. The design is very novel.
