Tonight at 6 o’clock, OPPO will hold a new product launch event for OPPO Reno 6 series smartphones, after the official announcement that it will release OPPO Enco Free 2 wireless noise-canceling headphones. Just now, the company announced the parameter information of this headset in advance at the media communication meeting.
As we can in the image below, the OPPO Enco Free 2 has a noise reduction depth of up to 42dB and supports transparent mode. The headset is also tuned in conjunction with Dynaudio, equipped with Bluetooth 5.0, three-microphone fairy tale noise reduction, IP54 dust, and waterproof with up to 30 hours of music playback time.
And if as regards the audio functions we will have to deal with respectable specifications but all in all in the norm, what could become very interesting will be a smart feature that the OPPO Enco Free 2 could use. In fact, the new official teaser asks users if the new TWS earphones are able to take selfies. This would be very particular, if not unique, but it could all be linked to the touch controls it uses.
Recall, the first OPPO Enco Free was released in 2019, with a semi-in-ear design and does not support active noise reduction. The upcoming Enco Free 2 has been changed to in-ear, similar to the design of Enco X. There are differences in the earphone handle. The price of OPPO Enco Free 2 has not yet been announced, but it seems that they can cost around $90 – $99, therefore certainly less expensive than Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro and Vivo TWS 2.
