Xiaomi’s new tablet will have a design with rectangular edges similar to Apple’s iPad Pro and a thin and light body, according to a report by a well-known blogger @digital chats. The tablet will also have a 120Hz LCD screen with a high refresh rate and unlock with a fingerprint on the side, instead of a front-facing perforated screen.
Xiaomi’s new tablet has long been rumored on the market, and according to several sources, it’s likely to be called the Mi pad 5, along with the Mi Pad 5 Pro. The two tablets will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processors and support 2K+120Hz, as well as 4096-level touch control and In-Cell active pen technology, which will provide a more subtle and smooth display effect for larger devices. In addition, the tablet will have a built-in 4,260mAh dual cell battery (equivalent to 8,720mAh).

The new Xiaomi MI Pad 5 Series is expected to be released in July this year. The top version is positioned as standard iPad, Huawei Mate Pad Pro and other flagship high-end products, while the standard version of Xiaomi MI Pad 5 is featured with cost performance, and the starting price is expected to be set within 3,000 yuan.
