Xiaomi is introducing a new extra-low vacuum cleaner called Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner to its portfolio of robotic vacuum cleaners. Its height is only 55 mm, diameter is 323 mm. This makes it a very compact and practical vacuum cleaner, which can easily fit under low beds or low furniture, for example. Despite this compact size, it does not lack advanced navigation features.
Despite its extremely low height, the Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot has an advanced 3D ToF sensor (depth sensor). The manufacturer has also equipped the vacuum cleaner with a new algorithm called S-Cross 3D. This combination ensures very precise movement in space. The vacuum cleaner can also recognize very small objects such as children’s toys or slippers.
As we mentioned in the article above, the vacuum cleaner is only 55 mm high. Nevertheless, it has a suction power of up to 2000 Pa. The impurities to be vacuumed are placed in a collection container with a capacity of 500 ml. As we are used to most new vacuum cleaners from Xiaomi, this model also has a moping function. The water container has a capacity of 220 ml.
Of course, there is also control via the well-known Mi Home application. There is also voice control via the XiaoAI assistant.
Price and availability
Currently, the Xiaomi Mijia Ultra-Thin Robot Vacuum Cleaner is only sold on the Chinese market at a price of 1999 yuan (about $310). However, it is possible that this model will also be sold in a global version through well-known international retailers.
