Nubia is once again boosting its range of devices under the Z series through the Nubia Z30 Pro, which is scheduled to take place in China on May 20. Yesterday, images of the smartphone released on the Web highlight the set with three 64MP rear cameras of the device and confirm that it is basically the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra with a different name and with a different finish.
As you can see in the images, the rear camera set consists of three 64MP cameras and one more periscope camera with a fairly large and thick camera hump. Also visible, the entire surface for the module is trimmed with a glossy black finish with the Nubia logo placed on its right side. The logo font doesn’t look too big, but it’s still clear to see.
Regarding the specifications, they shouldn’t be too different from the specifications of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra. The new Nubia smartphone should have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, storage based on the UFS 3.1 standard, and battery with support for NeoCharge technology and fast charging up to 120W. Still, on the battery, the one used by the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a capacity of 4600mAh and supports for fast charging of 60W.
The smartphone must support 50x zoom and the camera set must support the capture of images with buoy quality even in low light conditions. If the rear cameras are exactly the same as those on the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, the new Nubia smartphone will have a 64MP with f / 1.9 aperture and 35mm focal length, a 64MP with Sony IMX686 sensor with f / 1.6 aperture and OIS stabilization, a 64MP ultrawide with f / 2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view. The periscope camera must support optical zoom, hybrid zoom, and OIS stabilization.
Obviously, the Nubia Z30 Pro offers the best features for a premium experience. What remains to be seen is how much money users will have to pay out of their own pockets for this premium experience. We will find out about this in the coming days when the smartphone will be officially presented.
