Sharp released its Aquos R6 flagship phone of the year in an online presentation today.

Sharp’s Aquos R6 phone screen supports 1 billion color display, 20 million to 1 contrast ratio and the industry’s highest peak brightness of 2000nit, HDR content display support.
Sharp Aquos R6 uses in-screen fingerprint technology and it is the first phone in the world to use Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic Max fingerprint recognition. The 3D Sonic Max fingerprint technology has a much larger fingerprint authentication area, no multiple clicks, a single click to take a fingerprint, and it can be authenticated with two fingers at the same time for added security.

The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 888 5G chip, 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, 5000mAh large battery, weighing 207g, supporting Wi-Fi 6 network, IP5/8 waterproof and dustproof functions, and it will be officially launched in Japan in mid-June.
