MIUI officially announced that the stable version of MIUI 12.5 has officially opened the first batch of full-volume push.
The Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultimate Edition, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 and Mi 9 SE will be the first seven models to be supported. That’s two more than the five previously available on Mi Fans Openday (the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 Pro were originally in the second batch).

It is understood that Xiaomi released the latest generation of MIUI 12.5 system in December last year, the official said that the upgrade is no less than a major version update, involving security and privacy, super wallpaper, dynamic design, tactile design, system optimization and many other aspects. For example, the smart clipboard privacy protection, file sandbox mechanism, web browsing privacy protection, location information privacy protection four functions, the introduction of MIUI+ cross-screen office software, etc.
In terms of smoothness, the official claim is that the system memory usage is reduced by 35% on average, power consumption is reduced by 25%, and power consumption of the super wallpaper is reduced by up to 40%.
In addition, the second batch of stable MIUI 12.5 is expected to be pushed by the end of May. Models include Redmi K40 Pro, Xiaomi mi 10S, Redmi K40, Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30i 5G, Xiaomi mi 10 Youth 5G, Redmi K30 Supreme Commemorative Edition, and Redmi mi 10X, REDMI 10X PRO, REDMI K30s supreme commemorative edition, REDMI NOTE 9 PRO, Xiaomi mi CC9 PRO, REDMI NOTE 9, Xiaomi mi CC9 MEITU customized version, REDMI NOTE 8 PRO, Xiaomi mi 9, REDMI K20 Pro, Xiaomi mi9 Pro 5G.

According to Zhang Guoquan, director of Xiaomi’s mobile system software department, Mi Mix 2S and Mi 8 series will also be upgraded to MIUI 12.5, but it may take more time to wait patiently.
