Huawei continues to unveil its upcoming P50 Series devices and a few weeks before the official announcement, Peng-Peng June, a popular Chinese leaker on Sina Weibo, posted several photos showing covers for the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro, Huawei Central reports. These protective cases have two huge holes on the backside. Each cutout is intended to allow part of the camera’s block to pass.
A third cut, much more discreet, is probably reserved for the LED flash, an essential accessory for the cameras of our phones. This umpteenth leak confirms the presence of a camera with an original design. This device would consist of two large circular photo blocks.
According to the leaks, Huawei is integrating the largest smartphone photo sensor ever designed on the P50. It would be the Sony IMX800, a huge sensor since it measures an inch in diameter or 2.54cm. The Japanese giant should announce this objective during the month of April. The Huawei P50 and P50 Pro would be the first smartphone to embed this titanic module.
Only the top cutout would embed this giant main module. The bottom photo block would for its part consist of three other lenses designed in association with the Leica specialist: a wide-angle sensor, an ultra-wide-angle, and a periscopic zoom.
According to the latest news, Huawei would have been forced to postpone the official presentation of the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. Expected in March and then in April, the three smartphones in the range would finally be announced during the month of June 2021.
