Oppo has added a new addition to its massive Reno 5 product line overseas, called Reno5 Z 5G. The Oppo Reno5 Z 5G is powered by Dimensity 800U SoC, with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 pre-installed.
The Reno5 Z 5G features a 6.43-inch Full HD+AMOLED screen that supports underscreen fingerprints and a perforated top left corner for a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The back of the phone has a four-camera, including a 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide Angle, 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, supporting super night video, HDR video, dual-view video, focus lock, dynamic blacking and AI scene enhancement 2.0 camera features.
The Reno 5Z 5G uses a 4310mAh battery and is powered through a USB-C port for up to 30W of power. The Reno5 Z 5G also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack that supports both NFC and 5G.
These may sound familiar, because the Reno5 Z 5G isn’t an entirely new smartphone. It’s essentially the F19 Pro+ 5G, but it charges more slowly and comes loaded with an NFC chip. Oppo even uses the same name for the Reno5 Z 5G Black color — fluid black, with another color called Cosmo blue — though the smartphone doesn’t come in a space silver color version like the F19 Pro+ 5G.
