Foreign media reported that Microsoft has not ended its mockery of Apple. In the “The Better Choice” advertising campaign, a young man directly compared Surface Pro 7 with MacBook Pro. After that, Microsoft once again mocked Apple’s popular laptops. This time, Microsoft India mocked Apple’s Macbook Pro as a “BackBook”.
As most of Microsoft’s Surface ads have done so far, this ad compares the versatility of the Surface Pro 7 with the less versatile “BackBook”. It’s a bit like the original Surface RT ad that asked Siri to detail its weaknesses with Surface. At the beginning of this ad, Surface Pro talked directly to “BackBook”. The surface turned to Apple’s laptop and said “Hey, brother, can you do it?”. Subsequently, the advertisement showed the use of the Surface Pro bracket, and also showed the detachable Type Cover keyboard. Some people even tried to do the same with a MacBook, pulling the keyboard away from the screen, but as expected, it failed completely.

We have seen Microsoft doing this in multiple advertising campaigns before. Even Intel has begun to fight back against the M1 Mac, hiring the former “I am a Mac” actor Justin Long (Justin Long) to produce a series of advertisements, comparing the M1 Mac with the Intel PC, positioning the Intel PC as a high-end device, and reinvigorating it The battle between Mac and PC.
