OnePlus 9 series will launch on March 24, along with OnePlus Watch, the company’s first smartwatch. According to AndroidPolice, Liu Zuohu confirmed on the OnePlus English forum that the Oneplus Watch will be powered by a custom system based on RTOS, rather than the previously rumored Google Watch OS.
Liu said he chose this system because the customised version of the RTOS provides smoother performance and better battery life. RTOS is short for real-time operating system, which guarantees the priority of tasks triggered. Previously, it was used in industrial control, automation, aerospace and military industries, etc.

The patent diagram for the OnePlus smartwatch has previously been made public. Products will use circular dial, divided into standard version, sports version of two. Back sensors can measure blood oxygen, heart rate and more.
