It has been previously announced that the brand will officially launch its new annual flagship, the Redmi K40 series, after the Chinese New Year.
Combined with previous revelations, REDMI K40 series still includes two models, namely REDMI K40 and REDMI K40 Pro, which will be equipped with different configurations and slightly different market positioning.
This morning, a well-known Chinese digital blogger brought the latest news about the Redmi K40. He revealed that the whole Redmi K40 will be standard with Samsung E4 material OLED display.
E4 is the latest generation of Samsung’s screen technology, offering ultra-low power consumption, higher brightness, high contrast, high color accuracy and other benefits.
The Mi 11 has previously set 13 records with a screen made from Samsung’s E4 material, which was given A DisplayMate A+ rating.
In addition to the screen material upgrade, it has been previously revealed that Redmi K40 will be fully equipped with a center burrow display scheme, and will have a 2.8mm ultra-small aperture forward bore, which may be the smallest burrow on the market.
With these two technologies, REDMI K40 is bound to bring great improvements in the look and feel of the screen.
Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, has previously revealed that Redmi K40 series’ screen may be the most expensive straight screen in the industry.
The Redmi K40 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 processor, with at least 8GB of memory specs and no worries about hardware performance. The price starts at 2,999 yuan.
The Redmi K40 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 870, which is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. The CPU will once again improve its performance, bringing it close to the Snapdragon 888 in scoring performance.
