Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G made its world debut today. The phone entered the Indian market, and from there it will go to the others. This time, Oppo decided that the smartphone will not have two variants. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes in a single memory variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and it will be offered globally in exactly the same specification as in China.
Specifications
To start off with, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC. It comes in just a single memory variant that packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The phone sports a 6.55-inch full HD+ curved OLED panel that offers 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate. There’s a punch-hole cutout on the display for housing the front camera.
In the camera department, there is a quad-camera setup on the back featuring a 64MP primary lens with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with 119-degree FoV, and 2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP mono portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, the device has a 32MP (f/2.4) snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
In terms of battery capacity, Oppo has added a 4300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging and it runs Android Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 skin.
As for the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
Price and Availability
This smartphone has been introduced in Stary Black, Astral Blue color and has been priced at 35,990 INR (around $492) for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G is set to be available for purchase in India from 22nd January.

Oppo Enco X TWS Earbuds
In addition, the company also launched its new earbuds, Enco X, for Rs 9,990. The Enco X earbuds come with an oval-shaped charging case and support dual-mic noise cancellation.
The earbuds use an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm balanced membrane driver. Each earbud has a 44mAh battery inside but the charging case houses a 535mAh battery. The ANC feature supported two modes: Max Noise Cancellation and Noise Cancellation. OPPO has partnered with DynAudio Lab for a focus on acoustics on the Enco X.
