Dutch website GalaxyClub scoops up a model called the Samsung SM-F720F, which it calls the ‘Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3‘ and is expected to be the rumoured cheaper version of the Galaxy Z Flip Lite.
It’s worth noting that this will be an international model, as Samsung typically does with an “F” at the end of the model, and will not support 5G networks, meaning a 4G/LTE phone (Samsung’s international 5G devices all have a “B” at the end of the model).
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be a “cheap version of the folding flagship” that does not support 5G
Given that the last non-5G SoC is qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, which was the configuration of the original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, it’s also possible that this model is simply an optimized version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
If that happens as expected, it will be released as one of Samsung’s folding models this year and is expected to cost less than $1,000.
