In addition to the regular version of the Xiaomi Mi 11, the Chinese manufacturer has also presented Xiaomi Mi 11 Special Edition. Technically, this model is identical to the regular Mi 11. However, 12 instead of 8GB of RAM are used as standard and this version is also only available with 256GB of storage space. Above all, the design of the back differs.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is also marketed in this variant as the Lei Jun Signature Edition, named after the company founder. The back, which should shimmer in different colors depending on the incidence of light, now also uses additional Scodix crystals for this effect.
The cost of a smartphone in the base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM is 4699 yuan (around $720). Internationally, this version is unlikely to come onto the market. As a reminder, below are the technical data of the Xiaomi Mi 11, which also apply to the Special Edition:
The Xiaomi Mi 11 was equipped with a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform, a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch layer response rate of 480 Hz, support for HDR10 + and MEMC, a peak brightness of 1771 cd / m2 and glass Gorilla Glass Victus, under-screen fingerprint sensor (measures heart rate), 6400 Mbps LPDDR 5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash, Wi-Fi 6E support, 60W wired charging, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless, a 4600mAh battery, stereo speakers and a triple rear camera with 108MP (optical stabilization), 13MP (ultra-wide) and 5MP (macro) modules.
