The latest reports reveal that the Honor V40 will be presented sometime in January 2021, previously it had been rumored that its announcement would happen this December, but that was already ruled out a few days ago. Now, a new leak has been present where new information about the Honor V40 has been revealed.
According to Digital Chat Station, one of the most trusted sources in the industry, it states that Honor’s new phone has passed MIIT certification where it has been registered with the model number YOK-AN10. Furthermore, it also mentions that it will come with 5G support.
Likewise, a standard charger model HW-110600C0x is mentioned on the certification body’s website. Previously, Huawei had registered a charger with the same model classified as 11V / 6A, this means that the Honor V40 will come with 66W fast charging support that could charge the device in a matter of minutes.
The Honor V40 is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 1000+ processor, as well as a 120 Hz AMOLED screen, the main camera with a 50 megapixel Sony IMX700 RYYB sensor. In addition, there will be an Honor V40 Pro which will use Samsung’s Exynos 1080, while the V40 Pro+ will use Snapdragon 888 while the Honor V40 Commemorative Edition will come with Huawei’s Kirin 9000. More details are expected to leak in the coming days.
