Last month On October 20, DJI officially released its new second-generation all-in-one camera called Dji Pocket 2, which is DJI’s smallest consumer-grade handheld gimbal camera with a built-in three-axis stabilizer. And now we have already got this new DJI Pocket 2 to show you what it offers us, so let’s take a look at the pictures below.
In terms of design, DJI Pocket 2 continues to be a compact and portable body with a length of 124.7mm and its weight is only 117 grams, which can be easily controlled with one hand. It has a built-in 875mAh lithium-ion battery, which provides 140 minutes of autonomy under 1080P video shooting.
DJI Pocket 2 features advanced gimbal stabilization technology, so we can hold it with one hand without fear of shaking, which means you are as creative as you want with your shots. At the same time, the hybrid focus 2.0 technology is fully upgraded to support 8x zoom, so you can shoot details without being close to the subject.
IMX686 64MP sensor spreads all that resolution across 1/1.7 inches, and it can captures photos with a resolution of 16MP, using four-in-one pixel binning. It also shoots 4K, 2.7K, and 1080p video at up to 60fps, with support for 24, 25, 30, 48, and 50fps capture too. Despite it, the DJI Pocket 2 has four directional microphones, with stereo recording, and support for smart wind noise reduction.
In terms of scalability, the bottom of the Pocket 2 is upgraded to a detachable bottom shell. The product does not need to be connected to an accessory adapter sleeve like the previous generation. So you only need to replace the bottom to expand more accessories.
Pocket 2 has a standard version and a package version. The standard version is priced at 2499 yuan ($380), while the package version is priced at 3499 yuan ($532). It also comes with a miniature tripod, extender lens, versatile handle, wireless microphone windproof cover, wireless microphone transmitter, dual Head charging cable, and other accessories.
Lastly, the DJI Pocket 2 remains small and simple to operate and isn’t nearly as intimidating to use as larger gimbals on the market. And no doubt, the Pocket 2 is a worthy successor to the original that offers a lot of capability in an extremely portable package.
