A few days ago, a first render of the future OnePlus 9 had been leaked, revealing its preliminary design both front and back. Now it’s time to see a live photo of the rear camera of the OnePlus 9, which was at the disposal of 91mobiles. Also, the resource published the characteristics of the triple PV module.
In the area of the cameras, you can see that there are two large holes along with a much smaller one for the camera sensors. To the right and in the middle of the two large sensors will be the LED flash. We can see that the layout of the lenses and the design bear certain similarities to what is seen in Apple’s iPhone 12 series of flagship phones. However, the difference here is that the design of the module is a bit longer, as it adds its third sensor below the other two.
Moving on to talking about the specifications of the OnePlus 9 cameras, the source claims that it will make use of a 48MP main camera. Finally, the much exploited (and good sensor) Sony IMX586 will remain in the past, giving way to a more modern one. However, the media is not sure if the sensor is a Sony IMX689. The main camera will have a focal length of 6mm and its output will be 12MP (4000 × 3000 pixels).
The report adds that a 48MP ultra-wide sensor will also be present. This is surprising considering their predecessors, the OnePlus 8 and 8T, have a 16MP sensor. That said, there is no information on the third sensor, but it could be a macro / monochrome lens.
The OnePlus 9 would feature a 6.65-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It would be powered by the Snapdragon 875 chipset along with 8GB of RAM. It would also have an IP68 rating, NFC, stereo speakers, 65W fast charging, and more.
