Vivo held a special event for the OriginOS event yesterday to officially launch the brand new phone operating system OriginOS. Today, Vivo announced the upgrading plan for the OriginOS.
OriginOS will launch on the next X flagship model, according to Vivo. After that, the first batch of models scheduled to be upgraded will include more than 10 models, including the X50, NEX 3S and iQOO 5, before January 31, 2021. The second batch of upgraded models includes more models such as X30, NEX 3 and iQOO Neo. The date is before Spring Festival, and other upgraded models will be rolled out one after another.
OriginOS features a new Hua Rong grid desktop system. OriginOS features a new desktop grid system that matches the silver split rate and provides the flexibility and freedom to represent the beauty of each element of the desktop. You can create a wide variety of imaginative layouts from one base unit to another. There are also atomic notifications, atomic Walkman, atomic component libraries, navigation gestures, and so on.
OriginOS supports the Sky window, bringing authentic natural phenomena to the desktop, where weather events are included. The shape, size, and density of a cloud are modeled and sampled from thousands of scenarios in different regions. Even the speed at which clouds move will vary depending on how strong the wind is blowing.

OriginOS supports a new navigation gesture. You don’t need to read complicated guides, but you can complete 26 navigation combinations just by clicking, almost covering the mainstream operation mode. It not only satisfies the original usage habit, but also provides a great imagination space to create your own gesture combination.
