Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro now comes with HDR Display that can easily switch to SDR that will update soon in MIUI 12. Last year, Xiaomi was one of the few OEMs that announced its flagship Mi 10 series equipped with Snapdragon 865 during the technology summit. This year, it is expected that the Mi 11 series will be mentioned at the press conference. Although Xiaomi has not disclosed any details of its upcoming flagship product, the information leaked recently indicates that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro may have a major upgrade in the screen.
Previously broke the news revealed that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will use QHD + resolution panel, refresh rate up to 120Hz. Although this will not be the first Android phone with a QHD+ panel and 120Hz refresh rate (OPPO Find X2 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro already provide QHD+ 120Hz panel), because Mi 10 Pro uses an FHD+ panel, refresh The rate is 90Hz, so this is a big leap for Xiaomi.
In addition to the high-resolution panel, Xiaomi is expected to introduce some new display functions through the Xiaomi 11 Pro. Another reliable Xiaomi whistleblower XDA senior member kacskrz recently discovered some new display functions in the latest MIUI 12 beta code, including MEMC video frame supplement, as well as video real-time SDR to HDR and video super-resolution.

Xiaomi has implemented MEMC in several previous mobile phones, including Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Xiaomi 10T Pro, but the company has not yet provided video real-time SDR to HDR or video super-resolution functions in any of its devices. There are other devices on the market that provide real-time SDR to HDR conversion for videos, such as OPPO Find X2 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro. At present, it is unclear whether Xiaomi will use self-developed display technology to provide these functions, or will obtain authorization from companies such as Pixelworks.
