Last week, Huawei launched the flagship Mate 40 series and now, many are looking forward to another product line from this manufacturer, the Nova 8 series, which is expected to launch in November or December 2020, and just before the launch, recently, the configuration parameters of the Huawei Nova 8 SE have been revealed. Now a Weibo user has unveiled a render of the phone earlier today, plus the claim that it will be launched soon.
As we can see, the renders of the phone show a design that is different from the Nova 7 SE. Instead of the punch-hole front camera and vertically aligned rear cameras, the Nova 8 SE has a waterdrop notch front camera and the rear quad-camera in a square block. Other than that, it doesn’t seem that much has changed.
In terms of core configuration, according to Digital Chat Station, the Nova 8 SE will receive a 6.53-inch display with a small opening for the front camera based on a 16MP sensor. The quad rear camera will incorporate a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP unit with wide-angle optics, and a pair of 2MP sensors.
It is alleged that the novelty may come in modifications with different MediaTek 5G processors – Dimensity 720 and Dimensity 800U. The first of these chips contains eight cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and a graphics accelerator ARM Mali G57 MC3, the second – eight cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.4 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MC3 unit.
The device will be enclosed in a case with a thickness of 7.46 mm, and the weight will be 178 grams. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 3800mAh. Among them, Huawei nova 8 SE will support 66W ultra-fast charging for the first time. This is the first time that the 66W fast charging on Huawei Mate 40 series has been transferred to Huawei nova series products.
