On September 30, bloggers reported that Redmi will launch snapdragon 750G model in the Chinese market.
When Qualcomm snapdragon 750G processor was released, we knew that Xiaomi would debut this chip. Now it looks like Redmi will be the first to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. The first model is likely to be the Redmi Note 10 series.
It was previously revealed that Redmi Note 10 series consists of three versions, 4G version, 5G Standard version and 5G Pro version, with a similar layout to Redmi 10X series (Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G are also available).
The two 5G models may be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G and Mediatek Dimensity 820 processors respectively.
The snapdragon 750G is slightly less advanced than Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It is based on an 8nm process process and has an eight-core CPU design, including two large cores and six energy efficiency cores. The large core is Cortex A77, which is integrated with Adreno 619 GPU.
Dimensity 820 is mediatek’s mid-to-high-end 5G chip. It adopts a 7nm process, which is composed of 4xCortex A76 2.6ghz +4×Cortex A55 2.0ghz, and its GPU is Mali-G57 MC5. It supports 5G dual-carrier aggregation and 5G+5G dual-sim, dual-standby.
Based on the two chip locations, Redmi Note 10 could be powered by Snapdragon 750, while Redmi Note 10 Pro could be powered by mediatek Dimensity 820.
Redmi note 10 is expected to be released around October.
