Recently on sale, the Surface Duo device made by Microsoft is about to be hit hard. Samsung will release a folding screen smartphone similar to the Surface Duo. The leak, this folding screen smartphone is called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S. According to @FoldUniverse, this smartphone will look like a Surface Duo. Yes, it is said that the screen of this smartphone can be folded 360 degrees.
As a result, the screen can be folded in or out of the smartphone body. Interestingly, the Galaxy Z Fold S uses only one screen, not divided into two screens like that of the Surface Duo. The screen he uses is still OLED. A dual folding smartphone like this might not have an external screen anymore. If the screen is extended and feels too big, just fold it to make it smaller and fit in your hand.
If this turns out to be true, Samsung would be opening a new, ambitious, and very interesting chapter in the history of this new family of terminals.
There is still very little information on the specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold S in circulation. It is possible that the Galaxy Z Fold S will be equipped with high specifications, like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. In addition, this smartphone is also likely to still use a super-thin glass layer, aka Ultra-Thin-Glass (UTG).
But the price can be more expensive than the Surface Duo, the cheapest of which is $1400, it can even be more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Making a smartphone with a dual folding concept will be more complicated and also increase the price.
There is no information on when the Galaxy Z Fold S will be launched. From the previous leaks, at least until next year, we will find three new Samsung folding screen smartphones. One of them is the Galaxy Z Fold S.
