Xiaomi prepares the launch of new phones and gadgets for next week, coinciding with its tenth anniversary. The Chinese company, which has long been working on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro +, a new edition of the Mi 10 Pro, will hold a new virtual event on August 11.
This was announced by Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, who during the event will discuss the past, present, and future of the company in his opening speech. An event in which new smartphones will also appear, including a new phone from the Mi 10 series (the aforementioned Mi 10 Pro) and some other devices, as reported by the Digital Chat Station Twitter account.
At the moment it is unknown what are the devices will make an appearance in said event, but rumors suggest that an alleged Redmi K30 Ultra may be officially known. A smartphone that is expected to sport a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 processor and boast a 144Hz screen refresh rate.
On the other hand, rumors also suggest two terminals will be unveiled, whose code names are Gauguin and Gauguin Pro, which are said to offer 64MP and 108MP primary cameras, respectively.
Among other details, they would come with 120W fast charging, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, and 5G connectivity. As for the new Mi 10 model, it is said that it will be released as Mi 10 Pro +, of which some details are already known. Even at the event, a Redmi smartwatch is expected.
