A few days ago, Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 9 will be launched in India soon. Today, the official Redmi India Twitter account tweeted and revealed the launch date of the phone for the Indian market. The phone will be launched on 20th July at 12 PM IST. Other variants of the phone, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max already launched in the market in May.
According to the teaser poster, The phone will be featured with quad cameras on the back and fast charging feature as well. There is also a tag line mentioned in the image “The Undisputed Champion”.
Redmi Note 9 Price, Specifications
The Redmi Note 9 was launched with a price tag of $199 (roughly Rs. 14,900) for the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant and $249 (roughly Rs. 18,700) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. India’s pricing and availability is expected to be announced at the launch on July 20.
Redmi Note 9 has a 6.53-inch IPS display panel with FHD+ resolution. It featured with punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner, 13MP. The phone powered by the Octa-Core Helio G85 processor under the hood. It has 3GB and 4GB of RAM variants along with 64GB and 128GB internal storage, respectively.
This phone featured with quad rear cameras, 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth camera. The phone packed with a 5020mAh capacity battery inside the body with an 18W fast charging feature. The phone also comes with NFC, IR blaster, USB-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and more connectivity features.
There also is a fingerprint scanner on the backside. It runs on the Android 10 Operating system out of the box along with customized MIUI running on top. However, these specs are not confirmed by the company. The Indian version of Redmi Note 9 may come with slightly different specs such as different RAM and storage.
