After several teasers, the Poco brand officially announced the release of a new smartphone. This will be the Poco M2 Pro model, the presentation of which will take place next week. At the same time, an image of the device itself was shown.
The presentation of the new Poco M2 Pro is scheduled for next Tuesday, July 7. The official teaser shows a schematic representation of a smartphone that closely resembles the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro.
See the company’s tweet above does not reveal many details of the device. What we can notice is just that the smartphone will have a centralized rear module with four cameras.
Despite the few aesthetic details, previous leaks have already shown that this intermediary must come out of the box with a fingerprint reader on the side. Another important detail is that Poco itself talks about fast charging, but does not specify its power.
Anyway, we already know that the Poco M2 Pro will be a smartphone exclusive to the Indian market. According to the executive Manmohan Chandolu, the intermediary is not a redmi renamed and should come out of the box with processor Snapdragon 720G.
The screen is probably an IPS LCD and there is no 5G connection. Finally, the Poco M2 should come out of the box with Android 10 running under the MIUI 12 interface and have a battery with a capacity of 5020mAh. At this time it is not clear if we will see Poco M2 Pro outside India or, as it happened with the Poco X2, its distribution will be limited to certain markets.
